Our Story

  • The Three Albertos is named in honour of three wonderful men who have always been up for a laugh and a bit of fun. We haven't got time to list all of their exploits in the YouTube clip below, but hopefully this will give you an idea of the mischief and mayhem that they created over many decades together.
    Just like our namesakes, the original three Albertos, we are all about family, fun and laughter. We aim to spread joy through wine, by providing premium Spanish wine, without any pretence.

Who are the Three Albertos

  • Many years ago, so the story goes, all three Albertos were travelling on one scooter through Franco era Spain. Upon being stopped and questioned by the Guardia Civil, all three men were each asked their name.
    'Alberto Blanco' responded the first cousin. 'Alberto Blanco' responded the second cousin, tongue in cheek. 'Alberto Blanco' responded the third cousin - stretching both the truth and the officer's patience!
    Following a trip to the police station, the officer decided that the paperwork wasn't worth his effort, and waved them on their way, shaking his head.
