Pontellon Albariño 2020

Pontellon Albariño is made from 100% Albariño grapes from Pontefederra in the Ribera de Ulla sub-zone in Rias Baixas (the northern most sub-zone). This offering is quintessentially Albariño with deliciously floral and hay aromas with flavours of lemon, lime, honeydew, apple and pear. It is dry, complex and has a long finish with trademark high acidity. Pontellon Albariño provides mouth-watering minerality and delicious saline notes courtesy of vine proximity with the Atlantic.

Perfect Pairing: Albariño is synonymous with seafood (oysters clams, mussels, fish crustaceans) and is a bedrock of Galician cuisine. It also pairs particularly well with creamy chicken dishes, risottos and Asian meals with Tofu. A beautiful match for Spanish Manchego, and salty feta. Albariño is fresh and bright and is outstanding with grilled vegetables and salads.
