A juicy, fresh, fruit forward, early drinking 2020 Tempranillo, Viura blend (85/15) from Bodegas Bhilar in Rioja Alavesa. The wine exhibits lovely intense aromas and flavours of black cherry, black plum, blueberry, black currant courtesy of the carbonic maceration process utilised. The finish is dry, with medium body and high acid and ripening tannins.
Perfect Pairing: Poultry (chicken or turkey), poached salmon smoked ham and soft and semi-soft cheeses - Comté, Brie, Gruyére, Camembert and Feta.
