A good quality Cava from the Conde de Caralt winery within the Catalunya area of the Cava DO. The palate is dry with aromas and flavours of apple, pear, lemon, and subtle hints of brioche. High acidity, light body and a pleasant finish. A great introduction to Cava. Simple and good by itself, or good with food.
Perfect Pairings: Shellfish - Lobster, oysters, prawns, whitefish. Wonderful with fresh berries especially strawberries and soft cheese. Great as an aperitif all on its own.
