A good semi-sweet Cava from the Conde de Caralt winery within the Catalunya area of the Cava DO. The palate is semi-dry with aromas and flavours of apple, pear, lemon, and subtle hints of brioche. Medium acidity, light body and a pleasant slightly sweet finish. Great if you like your bubbles slightly sweet.
Perfect Pairings: Best served as an aperitif or with oily fishes. It is a great sparkling wine pairing with salmon as the bubbles and sweetness cut through and pair well with the fish. Also good with shellfish, strawberries and soft cheese.
