L'Obaga Priorat D.O.Q 2020

An excellent, easy drinking DOQ Priorat blend from old vine Garnacha, together with younger Syrah aged in oak. The wine is powerful, deep ruby in colour with aromas and flavours of ripe red berries and dark cherry, blackberries, thyme, with cedar and vanilla. Well-blended with nice acidity, good tannins, that are slightly grippy, with an extended finish.

Perfect Pairing: Best with braised beef dishes, stews, lamb, duck, and other meat and game dishes that need a powerful wine. A strong “curado” goat or sheep cheese, and a blue cheese would also pair well.
