Manzanilla is a bone dry white wine similar to Fino Jerez. Like Fino, it is made from palomino grapes, with a similar flavour profile and aged under a layer of flor in a Solera system. The differences comes from it's location, it is produced exclusively in the bodegas of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, possesses it's own DO, and benefits from the unique humidity and closer proximity with the Atlantic. Together with the trademark almond nuttiness of Fino, Manzanilla imparts a distinctive saline note and a hint of green apples.
Perfect Pairing: Wonderful as an aperitif. Delicious with seafood and perfect for tapas.
