Nivarius Edicion Limitada 2016

Nivarius Edicion Limitada is a beautiful white DOC Rioja, blending old vine Viura (70%) and Maturana Blanca (30%). The wine is fermented at low temperature in French oak and then aged on lees for nine months. The resultant wine is a powerful and age worthy white wine that is well structured, full-bodied and very expressive bursting with fruit notes. Specifically, baked apple, pear and peach flavours come through, together with a lovely notes of butter, an almond nuttiness and a touch of minerality. 

This wine gains complexity after some time in the glass and will present added layers of floral and balsamic aromas. A wonderful drinking wine.
