Nuria Cava Gran Reserva Brut 2014

This Cava really approaches the top of the quality pyramid, made from 100% Xarel·lo vines planted over 50 years ago in the Santa Creu sector of the Sumarroca estate in Penedes. This is a gravelly piece of land where fossils can be found both on the surface and deep in the soil, giving the grapes their unique character. Unique and very intense aroma with green apple, pear, lemon, brioche and mineral notes. The palate is extremely tasty with fine bubbles that melt integrating the cava to give added complexity. This is a very special cava that is named after the mother of the founder of the winery. If you put your Mum's name on a bottle, you know it will be good.

Perfect Pairings: Drink it on its own as an aperitif or with lobster, prawns, oysters, strawberries or Brie. Delicious!
