A delicious Tempranillo blend from biodynamic estate of Bodegas Bhilar, situated in the village of Elvillar in Rioja Alavesa. This DOCa Rioja Tempranillo (77%) dominated blend is just delicious. It showcased old vines ranging from 35 to 100 years of age and includes Graciano (14%), Viura (7%), Garnacha (2%) as blending partners. Full-bodied, with depth and concentration, fine tannins and a compelling acidity. It is powerful and structured yet open; notes of blackberry, black plums, herbs, black pepper, cloves, vanilla and chocolate with a long, intense finish.
Perfect Pairing: Beef, lamb, veal and game (pheasant and turkey). Great with mushrooms and Beef Brisket.
