Lustau 'Don Nuno' Oloroso Reserva

Oloroso's are my favourite Sherry. They are rich, dark coloured, full bodied, have a wonderful spiciness and savoury profile with Chocolate and Liquorice. Having spent over 12 years on average aging and concentrating flavours, they are high in glycerine and have a wonderful mouthfeel. The most prominent flavour and aroma is that of walnuts, and a lovely toasted character, with balsamic notes is also present in this 'Don Nuno'.     

Perfect Pairings: Oloroso require strong flavours to bring out the best in the wine. Think Venison, Beef cheeks, rich creamy mash and cumin baked carrots.
