Tollodouro Tinto 2016 | Rojo

Tollodouro Tinto is a somewhat unusual wine from Rias Baixas, in two respects: it is a red wine in a white wine dominated DO; and it is made by blending two less common grapre varieties, in Sousón and Brancellao.  The wine is very deep cherry in colour and on the nose. The palate is fresh fruit dominant, with red cherries, balsamic herbs. The end result is a powerful wine with strong grippy tannins.
